Show i FAIRVIEW I By Special Correspondence T.-.e M. I. A. conjoint xeeting was .held on the high school grounds ounday evening. The INorth Sanpete San-pete Band, under E. B. Terry, fur-nised fur-nised several selections. Readings were given by Goldie Tucker and Neola Olsen and Golden Carlston, recently returned from the East, was tee speaker. A very good crowd was m auendance. A i,ni4Ee service was conducted on the high school lawn July 4th. by tne Bee Hive g.rls of the North ward. Song and pageant by Bee Hive girls. Seng by the North ward singing sing-ing metiers, quartette under tne aiiection of Ivan Cox. Several selections selec-tions were given by a Harmonica band. xi. e fourth of July was quietly oelebi..od at Fairv.ew. A Minirjure parade led by the bay scouts. Also serenading ty tha band and a meet-mg meet-mg was held ith a good patriotic prosrami in the Norta ward. Miss Goldie Tucker was the goddess of licerty and Miss Barker took the P-rt of Utah. A childrens dance and r.ces and s. i-rts were held on the high school grounds. A ball game oetween Fairview and Hiawatna teams resulted hi a score of 7-8 in iavcr of Fairview. A dance in the evening at the 5'orlie concluded the celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bailey of Salirji Canyon were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Tucker for the 4th -i July. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Larsen and family anci Mrs. Myron Johnson returned re-turned from Montana, Sunday, lAi.jere toey spent the past two months. Times must be getting better .at Fairview. There are at present six iiev residences being built; besides it-is, several are being added to by porch or a now room. Bishop and Mrs. Burns Cox, Miss Tela Cox and Miss Millie Wilcox went cn a trip recently tha-oiuglh Yellowstone Park and Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Amasa, Cox accompanied Gh'Ei.n to Soda Springs where they visiter! their son, A. Ira Cox and f-imlly. They also visited relatives at o"-tlly and Jerome, Idaho. Trie annual Braay reunion will be held at Park Rhc-shea. in Spring-viile Spring-viile July 30th. All toe Bradys m tne btate and their relatives are invited o .attend. Each faimiily will furnish tiieir cun lunch, a genealogical i . meeting and program will be held at 10:30. T.iere will be sports, games una swrj.i.i.r.nng.
