At the same time, they are trying to figure cut the causes of the lull in business activity with the hope cf applying remedial measures. Few of these students of business give any thought to the psychlogi-cal psychlogi-cal influence of falling farm prices. Tr.ey taks into consideration the total farm income, estimated to be above last year, and apparently believe be-lieve that farm buying power is unimpaired. We believe the experts will find that buying, on the part of farmers, farm-ers, is being sharply cm-tailed. Farm income, to many million fawners, is less than anticipated and, when this is the case, buying is affected. In fact, many of the nations' farmers farm-ers operate on credit, paying in the Fall for earlier purchases, and when prices drop unduly there is not much left for new buying.
