Show Snow College Notes Snow ccllege fought an exciting game last Friday to lose to Jensen Bros. Inc. of .Manti 55 to 49 in the last practice game before the regular season opens. It was an uphill battle for Snow all the way due to the 18 to 1 lead which the Manti crew took early in the first quarter. Snow Bank C squad also saw action, ac-tion, the second team taking Mant5. high fchool into camp 48-23 ana the C squad losing the Ephraim high school 26-24. Snow will first sea league action next Friday and Saturday nights when Weber College of Ogden will come to Snow for two games. Reports Re-ports indicate that Weber is a major threat this season and thus promises two interesing games. President I. O. In a recent inspection of th college buildings the state engineer recommended that wiring improvements improve-ments be made in the gymnasium, boiler rcom and gas house. N. J. Alex Neilson of Manti has been given the contract for the wirings William M. Lande?n of Walla Walla college, Washington will be the lecturer on the lyceum program to be presented in the Snow college auditorium Monday, January 14th according to Gladys Youngberg, chairman of the Lyceum cemmittee. Mr. Landeenj will lecture on "Hitler and Germany." He has traveled during the summer in Europe and has studied the various governments and peoples. The audience is assured as-sured of fresh ideas on Germany under Hitler. |
