Show Once More Fairview Merc Burglarized, When Three Youths Steal Clothing; For the second time in several weeks and the third time in as many month", the Fairview Mercantile Merc-antile Company store was broken into early Monday morning by three youths who had escaped from the state industrial home and who wen: picked up a couple days later by coun"y officers, at Manti. One of the burglars was the same youth who was apprehended some time ago, for a similar theft. ' The boys gained entrance by removing re-moving a. front window. They exchanged ex-changed their old clothing for new, then stole, a car. from in frcnt. of a Fairview. hotel, in which they drove to Mt Pleasant. The car belonged be-longed to a surveyor who has been working in C.cttonwcd canyon. It was left here in exchange for a Chevrolet sedan belonging to LeRoy Moss. The latter machine was also recovered. Sheriff Ed. J. Peterson, stated here yesterday that, he -was net sure what dl-position . would be made of the youths' case. He said they might be committed to the state penitentiary. They are about nineteen or twenty years of age. |
