Humphrey called the attention of the Company to the high rating this camp has received re-ceived since Captain Kirillin took command a little over a year and a half ago. He said that the CCC needed mote men like Captain Kirillin and that he was happy to see him retained in the service even though he had to be transferred trans-ferred to another camp because they needed him there worse than we do. With the departure of Captain Kirillin, Lieutenant Stanley C. Anderson An-derson was placed In command of Company 959. To be placed In command of a company with only two months CCC duty is certainly a great honor for Lieutenant Andersen. An-dersen. The usual minimum length of service before assuming command com-mand is six months. Supervising engineer Stewart Udell made an official inspection of the Camp Project last Tuesday. |
