Show Funeral For, H. L. Perhrson Funeral services for H. Lawrence Pehron were held June. 2nd in the North Ward chapel. BLhop H. W. Jones was in charge. Music was furnished by the ward choirs, und;r the d-rection of Jesse L. Young. Special numbers were a mixed quartette quar-tette ijncluding Mrs. Ellen Petersen and company. A solo by Floyd Young. Duet by Opal Scovil and Mies Pearl Larseni, "Whispering Hope." A violin solo, "A Perfect Day," by Alvin Brady. Vocal solo, by Mis. Bowers cf Salt Lake City. The, spiakeri, who paid tributes of honor, were Bishop Otis L. Stewart of Milburn, President Soren M. Neil-sen Neil-sen and President H. C. Jacobs of Mount Pleasant. Bishop Bowers of the Bellevxia Ward cf Salt Lake City and Bishop H. W. JoneJ. Pray-eis Pray-eis were offered by A. L. Carlstoui, and! Fred ChrtiansLTi. Interment was in! the' City cemetery. ceme-tery. Sidney Pehr-on dedicated the grave. Relatives from Minneapolis and Chicago, Salt Lake City, Provo, Spanish Fork, Salina and friends from all North Sanpet? came to attend at-tend the funeral. Mr. Heber Lawrence Pehrsein, 11, died at his home in Fairview May 2Sth. of pneumonia, after a few days turners. He was born in Fan-view October 26, 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hebcr Pe.ihri.on. He married Miss Elda Hafen July 30, 1924 at Salt lake City. Surviving him aie his wit'"?, h:s parents, and th'j following cleildren, Donna Jean, Betty Lou and Wayne; alfo the following brotohers and s stars, Mr?. Ellen Chrictenson and Argyle Pe'hrson of Minnoavolis, Mrs. Margery Graham cif Chicago, Mrs. Norma Harmon, Anna Verda and Barbara of Salt Lake City, Oscar Pehrson of Fair vie w. Mr. Pehr on was always cheerful and! optomieitic. He was engaged in farming and stockraising, and was prominent in school and civic life. |
