Show Utah State Junior Livestock Show At Spanish Fork, Utah The Utah Slate Junior Livestock Show 7.111 be held in Spanish Fork, ihy e, 7, 8, and 9th. All entries will be judged on Saturday. May lith. The fat animals cf all types will be judged either prime. c::oiec or good. Any animal receiving receiv-ing one cf tuc.se ratings will receive a cv.sh award and also a ribbon. Cash prizes are being increased over w: at they have been for previous prev-ious years. The best animals of e .c.i variety will be selected to compete com-pete for the grand champion nv, .;i'd.s. Sunday. Miy 7th will feature a h '-r.se show. The growing interest that lias been displayed in this division di-vision during recent years, will, undoubtedly un-doubtedly make this show a success. As an. added attraction members from the Junior .Chamber cganiza-tions cganiza-tions throughout the state will compete com-pete in a milking contest. Toe Governor's Day will be Mon-d.'.y, Mon-d.'.y, May 8th. The outstanding events of this day will be a parade, the horse pulling contest, and the Governor's banquet. Teams from all parts cf the state are being entered in the horse pulling contest where competition is expected to be very keen. The final day of the show will feature the selling of the fat stock by public auction. Buyers from all ...arts of the country have been contacted and a great many express their desire to be present. Figures from previous years sales show that the animals auctioned at this show have commanded a price much above the market price of the corresponding cor-responding year. All 4-H and Future Farmer members mem-bers who have fat animals or good breeding stock cf any kind. are cordially invited to enter their stock in this show. Because every animal entered in the fat division has a good chance of winning a cash award and a ribbon, and also an opportunity to be sold at a price above the .market price, the boys should be doubly interested in seeing see-ing that their stock is entered in this show. Club prizes are also being be-ing given in both the 4-H and Future Fu-ture Farmer .divisions to the clubs entering the most prize winning animals. an-imals. Separate awards being given giv-en for each variety of stock. To make the boys' stay in Spanish Span-ish Fork imcre enjoyable, many free entertainments and side trips are being planned. Plans for housing, accomodations for all boys having entries in the show, are also being worked out.
