Show MORONI By Special Correspondence i Mr. and Mrs. Mertellous Draper announce the marriage of their daughter Opal to Mr. Welby Aagard, ooa Mr. and Mrs. John Aagard of Fountain Green. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti L. D. S. tample, Friday, March 24th. Following Fol-lowing the ceremony a dinner was .ven at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Aagard for memoers of the wo families. A shower in honor of the young couple was given Wednesday evening eve-ning in tne East ward chapel. Mrs. Cleophia Ohristensen was in charge of the program. Refreshments iere served to one hundred guests. Mrs. Marvin Anderson and Mrs. Ernest Blackham entertained the o-rosis club Friday afternoon at t.:e home of the latter. Tne lesa-n on, "Better English" was given by Mrs.. Leo Morley. Refreshments were served to fourteen guests. The children of Mrs. Soren S. Nielsen oame ucme Friday Co cele-ora.te cele-ora.te her birthday. Her daughters Mrs. Fred Dustenberg of Provo and Mrs. Clark Ivory of Fountain Green were also present. . Tne Junior Sorosis Club was entertained en-tertained Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Earl Tidwell. A book review, was given by Mrs. Marion JjClley. The remainder of the evening eve-ning was spent playing pinochle. Mrs. Enma Bluhm won high score ,-rize and Mrs. Mont Madisen received re-ceived consolation prize. A delicious delic-ious luncheon was served to twelve members. Mrs. Roy Story has returned from a months irisit in Los Angeles, Cali-iornia. Cali-iornia. Te Moroni Stake Fathers and Sons banquet was iheld Saturday nigiit at the Moroni high school, rnomas Dyches and Mr. Passey of Salt Lake City were the principal speakers. The banquet table was beautifully decorated and covers were laid for one hundred and tnir-Ly-iive guests. Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Peterson announce the birth of a grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Reeve Norman of Ephaimi. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Peterson of Salt Lake City were guests Sunday of Mr. ,and Mrs. Thomas Balcknam. Mr. L. J. Fry was called to Oregon Ore-gon last week to the bedside of his father who is ill there. Russel Draper is seriously ill at his home here. |
