Don't stop now! V-V Monday, fifth period, we had a studentbody dance. It was a record hop with Mr. Gourley and Miss Condor taking charge. Everyone Ev-eryone who participated had a lot of fun. V-V Don't forget the school song contest. The deadline is Feb. 8. The prize is $25.00. Anyone wanting want-ing more information should contact con-tact Mr. Rogers, Steve Beers or one of the studentbody officers. V-V Our wrestling team is doing a good job this year. The boys have a lot of spirit and skill. What they need is more support from the studentbody. How about helping help-ing our wrestlers take state, too? V-V The officers of the art club are Dave Johnson, president; Robert Hunt, vice president; and Robert Sutch, secretary-treasurer. The club is under the direction of Harold Woolston. The art club is planning many activities for the future. They also want to see some art displays, etc. V-V Friday, we'll have our annual yell contest. This contest will be held in the boys gym sixth period. Which class will win thfs year? It's anyone's guess! V-V Also Friday, we'll play our third basketball game of the season. sea-son. It's also our first home game. Our opponents are BY High and they promise to give us some tough competition. And, don't forget the dance after the game. We hope we'll ' be able to call it a victory dance. It will be a record hop and there Is no charge. |
