IWest, was named President of the Chamber of Commerce for 1935 at a board of directors meeting held Wednesday Wednes-day night. H. W. Jacobs is the new vice president and H. P. Jones is secretary. 24 Years Ago Mary Jane Richins, 67, died of a heart attack Monday afternoon at her home here. Survivors include in-clude Mrs. Hazel Adams, Mrs. Mabel Baxter, Alma, Frank, Al- . bert, Wayne, Glen and Mrs. Delia Smith. 24 Years Ago Funeral sei-vices were held on Monday afternoon for Mrs. Helen Alexander Harvey, wife of Jonathan Jon-athan L. Harvey. She died at home on Feb. 22. In addition to her husband, nine children survive. sur-vive. Effie, Katherine, Louis, Helen, Hel-en, William, Lucile, Leo, Florence Flor-ence and Dean. 24 Years Ago Ralph Thorne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Thome, broke his arm Monday while, playing soft-ball soft-ball on the high school campus. 24 Years Ago Third Ward won the Timpanogos Timpan-ogos Stake M Men championship and will enter the district tournament tour-nament at Provo Tuesday. 24 Years Ago Mr. and Mrs. Josiam Kemp, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Matthews Matth-ews and Mildred Frampton, returned re-turned Thursday from a two-week's two-week's vacation in California. 24 Years Ago Mr. and Mrs. John S. Green from Mills, Utah, are visiting relatives rela-tives here this week. |
