Show j i ' . i i tmmmmmmmmJjt fiini in ELDER LARRY BLACKHURST Farewell Program Set Sunday for Larry Blackhurst A farewell testimonial honoring honor-ing Elder Larry Paul Blackhurst will be held in the First -Fifth Ward Chapel Sunday, Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m. Bishop Lewis J. Har-mer Har-mer will preside at the services. Elder Blackhurst is 'the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blackhurst and has accepted a call to labor in the Central Atlantic States LDS Mission. He is a graduate of the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove High School and Seminary Sem-inary and sinoe completing his secondary schoolwork he has attended at-tended USU at Logan. He expects to lenter the Salt Lake Mission home on Monday, August 31. The 'program prepared for Sunday Sun-day evening will be directed by the First Ward missionary committee, com-mittee, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Adam-son Adam-son and Mr. and Mrs. Don Fen-ton. Fen-ton. The program is as follows: Prelude music, Verda Fcnton; opening song, congregation, and invocation, Alton Hone. Sacrament song, and sacrament under the direction of Bemell Halliday and David Hone. Vocal solo, Dean Blackhurst. Speaker, Bill Bradford and a vocal selection by a girl's chorus. Remarks and response by the parents and missionary and closing clos-ing remarks by Bishop Harmer. Closing song by the congregation congrega-tion and closing prayer by David Blackhurst. |
