The Lehl exchange assembly was presented to our school on Monday. The theme was "Sound of Music" under the direction of Cindy Peck. It was very well dona. VV At the Region Seven speoch meet held last week, three slu-dont slu-dont from Pleasant Grove qualified quali-fied for the state meet. They aro Judy Wells, Pom Patch and Mar-lanno Mar-lanno Washburn. We are very proud of these girls and their accomplishments. VV Cheerleader tryouts were held Wednesday, fifth period. VV The bowling club lias planned a party to be held within the next two weeks at the Jack and Jill Bowling lanes. Novelty bowling bowl-ing and rofrealuiients will be enjoyed. en-joyed. Trophies will be presented to the boy and girl with the high series and high game. A trophy will also be presented to the winning win-ning team. New officers will also be eleoted. This will be the first event for the bowling club. VV Students at P.G.H.S. have been busy practicing and preparing our exchange assembly, under the direction of Bonnie Barton. The theme of the assembly is "Roaring "Roar-ing 20's." This assembly is be presented to the studentbody next Tuesday and we are sure it will be outstanding. |
