Show Homecoming for Jan Fisher Set For Sunday Night Homecoming services welcoming welcom-ing Elder Jan Fisher will be held in connection with Sacrament meeting this coming Sunday evening, ev-ening, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Manila Ward, according to Bishop Elliot C. Howe. Elder Fisher is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Fisher of Sandpoint, Idaho, formerly residents of Manila. Jan was honorably released from the Mexican Mission last month after serving two and one-half one-half years. Prior to his mission he was stationed at Fort Bliss, in El Paso, Texas. He was graduated from the Pleasant Grove High School where he was also active in the Pleasant Grove Seminary. Bishop Harvey E. Smith, Jan's parents and the returned missionary mission-ary will be the speakers while Bea and Candy Fisher, his sisters, sis-ters, will provide special numbers num-bers during the meeting. Friends and former neighbors of the Fishers are invited to attend. Jan plans to work with his father during the spring and summer months and then will return to the BYU where he will major In art and probably get a secondary teaching certificate as well. |
