Show Lindon Council Approves Master Road Plan for Lindon City Lindon Councilmon have approved approv-ed the proposed master road plan for Lindon as set up by the city planning commission and passed by the majority of the property owners. The action at the regular council meeting climaxed a year-long study of the sectional maps by city authorities and local citizens. Headed by chairman Kenneth R. Gillman, the panning commission hold a series of five public hearings before presenting the plan to the council which held its public hearing hear-ing last week. The maps will go to I. Dale Des- Orem and Pleasant Grove. Authorities Auth-orities are under the impression that the new maps and revised zoning ordinances are bound to influence in-fluence Linden's rate of growth. Other business at the same meeting included a lengthy discussion discus-sion of road improvements and the stray dog problem. Dog owners are urged to keep their dogs on a leash or confined to their premises. prem-ises. If owners do not heed the dog catcher's warnings their dogs will be picked up and destroyed. Councilmen for defense, Ivan Blain, reported that the siren atop the Lindon schcol building is in pain, planning consultant, who will draw up the city's new zoning ordinances. Thereafter, the city building inspector, Clifford Johnson, John-son, will possess the maps for reference ref-erence and for the convenience of all citizens contemplating building or remodeling. With the exception of two or three, all of the original proposed roads as suggested by the consultant consul-tant and the planning commissioners commission-ers were passed. Those roads which were rubbed out at public sound working order and that dates of testing will be advertised. Appointed by Mayor Harold Keetch, Councilmen Kenneth H. Gillman, Verl Christiansen, and Owen Hooley will investigate property prop-erty in Lindon with the idea in mind of erecting a building to house city equipment. It was also decided at this meeting meet-ing that all rented businesses in Lindon will be required to pay a $20 water deposit fee in advance when applying for water hook-ups. hearings will be shown in a different differ-ent color than those passed in order or-der that buildings are not ereoted in their paths.
