Show . :' ) ' , vA V . . MARK B. AXDERSON Mark B. Anderson Candidate for State Senator Mark B. Anderson of Lake Shore is a candidate on the Republican ticket for the State Senate from District 2. Under the new division of Utah County, District 2 comprises com-prises the communities North of Lindon and South of Provo. Mr. Anderson attended school at Utah State University at Log'an and also at the Brigham Young University. He is married to the former Vada Allen of Fillmore, Utah. The' have a family of six children. He is a successful farmer and livestock feeder. He is an active member of the local Farm Bureau. He has served as Dairy and Beef representative from the Lake Shore Farm Bureau group. He worked for a number of years on the Utah Junior livestock show committee as chairman of Beef. He has also served as Lake Shore precinct pre-cinct chairman for the Republican Party. Mr. Anderson is an active member mem-ber of the Latter-day Saint Church. He has sei-ved in many capacities in the church. He was Counselor in the Lake Shore Ward Bishopric for three years and has served as Bishop in the Lake Shore Ward for the past seven years. At the present time he holds this position and is chairman of the Bishop's Council in the Palmyra Stake. Mr. Anderson has a brother and sister living in Pleasant Grove, Boyd Anderson and Mrs. David (Zola) Elackhurst. |
