Thornton A Farewell Testimonial for Eldor James Clyde Thornton will be held this Sunday, Sept. 7, in the Lindon Ward Chapel at 5:30 p.m. prior to his departure for the Brazilian Mission. Mis-sion. Bishop Leon Walker will be in charge of the meeting. Elder Thornton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Beldon Thornton of Lindon. Lin-don. The program which has been outlined for the evening is as follows fol-lows : Opening song, congregation, "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go," with the invocation beging given by Elmo Syme. A vocal duet will be sung by Eva Millett and Doris Johnson, ar- companied by Rena Keetch. Remarks will be given by Don B. Walker and Nyle Shumway and a vocal solo "Evening Prayer," will be sung by Richard Peterson, accompanied ac-companied by Ellen Peterson. Remarks will be given by the mother and father of the missionary, mission-ary, Beulah and Beldon Thornton followed by a piano and organ duet, by Bill and Rena Keetch. Remark will be given by ihi-missionary ihi-missionary and closing remarks by Bishop Leon Walker. Closing song will be "God Ee With You Until We Meet Again" and the benediction will be pronounced pro-nounced by Larry Thornton. |
