Show Horticultural Meetings To Be Held on Jan. 8th The annual Utah County Horticultural Horti-cultural meetings are to be held January 8, 1952, in the City wd County building, Provo, according to Howard B. Furguson, . County President. Officers of the County organization are Mr. Ferguson, President; Julian Hansen, vice president, and Joel C. Barlow, As. sistant County Agent, Secretary. Fruit growers will have the opportunity op-portunity of hearing discussion on many vital phases of fruit production produ-ction by noted authorities in their respective fields. Program of events for the day according to Mr. Barlow is as follows: 10:30 a.m. Howard Ferguson: Welcome and appointment of nominations nom-inations committee. 10:45 a.m. Dr. D. W. Thorne, Utah State Agricultural Experiment Experi-ment Station Fertilization and Cover Crops. 11:45 a.m. State Department of Agriculture Explanation and Discussion of New Insecticide Law 12:00 to 1:30. Lunch hour. 1:30 p.m. a. Election of officers; b. Report of County Horticulture Society's activities during 1951 Howard Ferguson; c. Western X survey, Joel C.
