Show ; LOCAL NEWS ! Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Larson, Carlyle Jr., and Bob Hopes of Salt j Lake City, were guests of Mr. and ) I Mrs. George W. Larson on Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Ruelon Robbins have received word of the birth of a new granddaughter. The little lady arrived at the home of Bob j and Ada Robbins Adams at Top-! Top-! penish. Washington on Wednesday, Feb.' 27. In observance of her birthday j anniversary, Mrs. Ernest Jense on Feb. 22, greeted relatives and j friends, for an afternoon of social I ; chat and visiting followed by a I I tasty luncheon. Enjoying- the pleasant afternoon and each leaving leav-ing gifts of remembrance for the honored hostess were: Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Anderson, Mrs. Millie Thompson, Thom-pson, Mrs. Ellen Ellis, Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Barney, Mrs. Bengta Hanson, Han-son, Mrs. Christine Steggell, Mrs. Louesa Hunt, Mrs. Sarah Black-well, Black-well, Mrs. Martha Peterson, Mrs. Ora Lovell and three children, Mrs. Lucille Carter, children, Mr. and Mrs. Ferrin Goode and family, Nan Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jense have returned from a very enjoyable two week's trip to California. Mrs. Jense left here by streamliner and at Los Angeles was a house guest t of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Swenson. J She was later joined by Mr. Jense, who had business appointments at Stockton and other points. After enjoying the dinner party honoring honor-ing Mrs. Roy Swenson's birthday 1 anniversary, the Jenses visited at Burbank with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Jacques, who sends greetings to local friends. Here they visited the huge plant of the U. S. Flair Corporation, where Mr. Jacques is Cheif Engineer. Before returning home, the Utah couple were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Landis at Palm Springs. |
