Show Glade Walker Takes Bride In a very romantic setting in the Kolob stake house, Mr. and Mrs. Glade Walker, newlyweds, received and their bridal party received re-ceived relatives and friends on October 16. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen H. Allen of Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker of this city are parents par-ents of the groom. . White mums and burning tapers formed the setting for the bridal group. The brides gown of white satin -was enhanced with a lace panel and collar with button trim. Her fingertip veil, fell from a heartshaped tiara of seed pearls. She carried a gorgeous orchid nestled in white and pink rosebuds. rose-buds. She was attended by Mrs. Carol Woodward, matron of honor; Carol Car-ol Beardall, Pat Biills, and Verla Crockett. They wore various shades shad-es of orchid and carried nosegays of button chrysanthemums. Ronald Walker stood as best man for his brother. The brides mother wore a gown of ice blue, while Mrs. Walker chose rose color. Both wore corsages of baby orchids. During the receiving hours, string music was furnished by Jane Harrison and company. Eldon Reese was master of ceremonies. Reed O. Walker of this city, paid a sincere tribute to the groom, his nephew, and Jay-Iene Jay-Iene Tingey toasted the bride. Glade and LaRae Allen Walker were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple on Wednesday, Oct. 15, with Temple President Robert Rob-ert Young officiating. Witnessing the ceremony were parents of the young couple, the grooms grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. J. W. Gillman, and Mrs. Elroy H. West. Following the marriage, the party were entertained at a wedding wed-ding breakfast at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Dean Wrood-ward Wrood-ward of Bountiful. The newlyweds will leave early in November to make their home temporarily in San Diego, where Mr. Walker is stationed with the U.S. Navy. |
