Show Funeral! Services Held 52'-f'ay Forvrs. Richardson Impressive funeral rites were conducted Saturday in the Manila ward chapel for Mrs. Clara Collier Richardson, wiio died Thursday, Oct. 16, after a long illness. The impressive services began at 1 p. m. with Bishop Boyd Fugal in charge. Invocation was offered by K. Warnick Swcnson. Mrs. E. Ray Brown sang O . My Father. She was accompanied by Mrs. K. Adams, who also played prelude and postlude organ music. Speakers who paid tribute to the memory of the departed wife and mother and offered words of condolence and sympathy to the family and envisioned the life after this were: Patriarch L. M. Atwood and Bishop H. V. Swen-son. Swen-son. "Mrs. James - Richardson, -a daughter in law, paid a tender tribute to Mrs. Richardson, and two vocal recordings were played. The recorded voices were those of Mr. and Mrs. James Richardson. James is serving a mission in Argentina. Final speaker was Bishop Boyd Fugal who spoke words of sympathy sym-pathy and appreciation for the family. Mrs. S. W. Hilton and Elwood Allen sang the closing number Hold Thou My Hand. Benediction was pronounced by President Merrill N. Warnick. Burial directed by Olpin Mortuary Mor-tuary was made in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery, where Stephen Steph-en Adams offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers of the high priests quorum were A. P. Warnick, Don Mack Dalton, Alex Wadley, Arza Adams, E. Ray Brown, Ivan Mon-son. Mon-son. Relief Society of Manila Ward cared for and arranged the flowers, flow-ers, and also served lunch to more than 40 out of town people. Born in Vernal, July 25, 1890, she was a daughter of Joab and Theodorsia Keeler Collier. She was married to William Muir Richardson March 26, 1913, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She lived in Vernal until 1922 and for the past 10 years had lived in Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Richardson attended tho Vernal schools and graduated from Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University in 1911. She later taught school for six years. She was an active members of the LDS Church and filled a mission mis-sion to California in 1948 and 1949 Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Clara R. Men-zier, Men-zier, Sacramento, Calif.; William James Richardson, Argentina; John Thornton Richardson, Fairfield, Fair-field, and Mrs. Carol Raye Mc-Kinncy, Mc-Kinncy, Provo 15 grandchildren and six brothers and two sisters. |
