Show Local News Art and Alice Meredith and children Joe and Alice and Mrs. Rose Meredith spent Sunday in Heber City visiting with Arthur and Wilma Meredith and children of that city. Mrs. Vivian Evans, VeLoy War-nick, War-nick, Maxine Fugal, and Merium Ash were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Their purpose was to select sel-ect and purchase articles for the fish ponds for the Timpanogos Stake Primary Harvest Festival which is in the city park Aug. 16th at 2 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winch of Los Angeles, California spent last week here visiting Mrs. Emily Ray and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mills and fariiily. In honor of their guests, Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Mills entertained enter-tained at a nicely arranged dinner party on Sunday with covers laid for Mr. and Mrs. Winch, Mr. and ( Mrs. Kayle Bullock and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills and three sons, Mr. and Mrs Frank Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wadley, and son,, Mr. and Mrs. George R. Paul and three children, Mrs. Ray Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mills and Martha Ann and Lucille Mills. Elder Slaugh, former supervising supervis-ing elder of the West Nashville, Tenn. LDS mission visited Saturday Satur-day with Mr. and Mrs. Basil Walker. Walk-er. Elder Slaugh, who was recently rec-ently released from the mission field, reports that Miss Elma Walker is enjoying her work in the mission field, and is doing- fine work and also that she has recent- ly been transferred to the West Virginia Mission. She spent five days in the Louisville, Ky. mission home and ten days visiting Saints at Huntington West. Virginia. Her new headquarters are at Charleston, Charles-ton, W. Virginia. |
