LDS Girls and Aaronic Priesthood Boys Gievn Award Banquet Last Saturday The LDS Girls and the Aaronic Priesthood Boys of Timpanogos stake enjoyed their award banquet ban-quet in the First ward Recreation Hall on Saturday evening, Jan. 29. 225 girls and boys and their leaders lead-ers were served. Qualifying from a total of 226 LDS girls enrolled in the stake were 143 girls, five of whom had perfect records. The program during the dinner included community singing led by Mrs. L. A. Clark, an inspirational inspirat-ional talk by President Merrill N. Warnick, followed by entertainment entertain-ment by a sleight of hand artist, Jack Zener of Provo. The five girls who qualified 100 per cent were Colleen Allred, Lindon Lin-don ward; Joyce Remington, of the Grove ward and Raona Rob-ey,, Rob-ey,, Nancy Lou Warnick and Shirley Shir-ley Swenson of Manila. Stake chairman of LDS girls directing the affair was Mrs. Lacy White, while ward chairmen are First ward, Mametta Gamett, Second Sec-ond ward, Rose Radmall; Manila ward Jeanette Warnick; Third ward Emily Pedersen; Lindon ward Helois Johnson and Grove ward Beth Stott. Table ' decorations at the banquet ban-quet were in charge of stake secretary sec-retary Elda Mayhew, assisted by the ward secretaries. |
