Show i Third Ward Win On Monday Gives Them Best Chance To Win Second Half Third ward looked good to cop the second half crown in M-Men basketball after they won out over ov-er Grove last Monday to give them a 3-0 lead in the second half with two games to go, last night I against Second and Monday ag- j ainst Manila. First ward finally won a game, j after three consecutive defeats,! defeating the hard luck Lindon crew, by outlasting them, 52-48, in a game which was close all the way. In the opener Monday night, Second ward came from behind to defeat Manila, making up a ton point deficit and winning 44-4 44-4 2. This loaves Grove and Second Sec-ond tied for second spot with 1 loss and 2 wins in this half. The standings of the teams before be-fore the games last night were as follows.
