VIKINGS DROP GAME The Pleasant Grove Vikings dropped their first football game of the season, Friday, September 9, to a hard hitting Granite eleven 13-0, on the Vikings field. The first quarter was played on even terms with neither team being able to penetrate the others defense. de-fense. Granite scored late in the second quarter on a 65 yard run after both coaches had sent in complete new teams. The final touchdown came in the third quarter quar-ter on a pass. The Vikings threatened only once, that in the last quarter, but a fumble stopped them on the Granite 12 yard line. The P.
