Show CODES OBSERVE I TRAVEL DAY The Guides or the First and Grove wards primary observed their high Trail Day Monday, Sept. 12, and covered the Trail of service and the trail of knowledge At the Cave Camp each boy cooked his own supper and later gathered round the camp fire and sang primary songs and Miss Del-na Del-na Evans told an interesting Indian In-dian story. Robert Gardner and Reese Blackhurst had charge of games, which centered round the trail of knowledge. Jay Johnson, Reese Blackhurst, Jerry Harmer and John Richins were prize wiimers. Following the canyon activities, through the kind cooperation of Mr. Miller, all of the guides attended at-tended the show and enjoyed "The Stratton Story." First ward guides on the trail were Jay Johnson, Duane Sykes. David Radmall, Max Ferre, Phil Mallison, Thayne Mallison, Gary. Green, John Richins, Jerry Harmer, Har-mer, Leland Neilson and Paul Anderson. An-derson. They were chaperoned by their leader, Mrs. Thelbert Atkinson, Atkin-son, Mr. Atkinson, Alma Anderson and Rachael Anderson. Grove ward guides included Reese Blackhurst, Ferrin West, Guy Goff, Garry Ewell, Robert Gardiner, Melvin Loader, Leland Homer, Lionel Evans. They were chaperoned by primary president, Mrs. Robert Gardiner and Mr. Gardiner, and Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Carson. Mrs. Carson is the leader of the group. i |
