Show Grove Ward To Present 3-Act Comedy Next Tuesday and Wednesday At First Ward Hall "Where's Grandma" a comedy in 3 acts, will be presented by the Grove Ward Tuesday and Wednesday, Wed-nesday, October 17 and 18 in the First ward recreation hall. The play written by Prescilla Wayne and Wayne Sprague is being directed dir-ected by Mrs. Elvin Carson. This is the first of a series of M. I. A. plays to be presented. Time, present; Place: the living-room living-room of the Worley home. Cast of Characters in order of their appearances: Gretchin Blake a young wife, Dorothy Ann Bradley; Brad-ley; Bob Blake, her new husband. Bob Hilton; Jack Worley, Gretch-ins Gretch-ins brother, Darrell Harper; Carol Worley, Gretchins sister, with a mind and opinion of her own, Helen Crease; Midnight ,a chocolate choco-late houn businessman, who enjoys his uniform, Wesley Shields; Ar-lene Ar-lene Trusdale, the girl Gretchin wants her brother to marry, Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Whitehead; Dahlia, wife of Midnight, a determined det-ermined female Marilyn Shields; Lucy King, Jack's sweetheart, Colleen Gardiner; Grandma, an old lady, who first of all wants to be young, and second of all is quite content to be her age, Verland Saling; man's voice heard off stage, Wallace Saling. , Assiting are: Verlene Winters, assistant director; make-up and lighting, Ray Mills; Decorations, Gleaner Girls; Programs, Junior Gleaners; ushers, MIA Maids; Prelude music, Geniel Simper. Refreshments will be sold. Bee Hive girls; Dance, Mr. and Mrs. Don Brimley. This is .a budget activity and everybody is invited. It is hoped that Grove ward people will try to be present Tuesday Tues-day evening in lieu of Mutual, and thus other ward mutual people may attend Wednesday evening. Following the Wednesday evening eve-ning performance there will be dancing for all. There will be'oul standing progam numbers between acts. |
