Show 'Cattle Sale : October 28 At Rieiuielti i M & O Ranches :f Saliva r.-id . Emery, Utah, recognized through-I through-I out, the West for their superior j Hereford range cattle, will hold '' an auction sale at Richfield, Utah, October 28, at 1 p. m at the Southern Utah Junior Livestock Live-stock Show ring. According to H. D. Landes, owner of M & O Ranches, the auction sale will feature 45 18-months-old bulls and 50 18-months-old females. These animals ani-mals have been selected and I screened, Mr. Landes said, from j over 200 bulls and 400 females. The bulls and females being offered at the Richfield sale have all been bred and raised by M & O Ranches. "These bulls and females are strong and bigboned. The sires of the bulls and heifers being sold include such famous herd leaders as: Prize Aster Boy 2930272, WHR Pinnacle 39th 2757907, WHR Ruling Star 66th, WHR Cavalier 23rd, WHR Royal Tredway 5th, CBQ Lorena's R D 16th and CBQ R. Silver D. 9th. "These herd leaders were selected se-lected from the most outstanding outstand-ing hereford flocks in the country coun-try for their ruggedness and thrifty rustling habits. Livestock Live-stock men may be assured that progeny from these bulls will be easy to keep, good rustlers and easy to fatten. The bulls and females being offered have been raised on our own range and have already proved themselves," Mr. Landes said, adding: We raise what we sell, and the animals being offered were rigidly rig-idly selected from our own large foundation herd of 600 animals." The 45 bulls will be sold as individuals, in-dividuals, while the females will come into the ring in pens-of-five. The show is being held at Richfield instead of the ranch in Salina Canyon because of the central location and accessibility to good roads, Mr. Landes said. |
