Show Former P. G. Woman Dies In Salt Lake City Mrs. Estella Steggell Neilson, 49, former resident of Pleasant Grove died at her home in Salt Lake City of a heart ailment.. She was born in Redmond on January 13, 1898 a daughter of James Edward and Christina Niel-son Niel-son Steggell. When a small girl she moved with her mother to Pleasant Grove where she attended school and spent her young womanhood. On December 8, 1920 she married Carl M. Nielson and moved with him to Nebraska where they spent several years before returning to Salt Lake City, where she has been an active member of the LDS church in the East Eleventh ward. She was the mother of 12 children, chil-dren, eleven of whom with their father survive. They are, Captain Carl M. Neilson, of Oakland, California; Calif-ornia; Mrs. Dorothy M. Keeler and Mrs. Katherine Starucka of Richmond, Rich-mond, California; Edward S.. Neil-son Neil-son of Bellflower, California; Betty Jane and Charles Ray, Theodore Franklin, Otis Delano, and Claude Roosevelt, triplets and Roberta and Robert Neilson, twins, (Robert is with the U. H. Army at Lowry Field, Colorado. Also suryi.yj.ig are her mother, OhiTsOna Steg""ll, of Pleasant Grove; one sister, "sabell 5. Johnson, John-son, Salt Lake City; two brothers, Bert Steggell, Dillon, Montana, and Harold Steggell, Salt Lake City; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the East Eleventh ward in Salt Lake City. |
