Show Vi K I li G (Kg ITItKBi LINCOLN GAME We opened our League Basket Ball games January 5th at Lincoln. Lin-coln. The first half the game was fast and well played, with the Vikings going to the dressing room with a 20 to 10 advantage. It wa entirely a different picture the second half as the game turned in to a rough and tumble affair. Lincoln hit the basket during the last quarter, but could not overcome the lead we had made the first half. We won the game by a score 25-21. PEP CLUB ASSEM1BLY Friday, January 4th, a Pep Club assembly was presented in the form of a pep rally. The Band first played four numbers; Mr. Banks gave a pep talk; and Delores Nelson presented a reading; read-ing; Carol Stark sang two numbers num-bers and Ina Willett gave a reading. read-ing. Next the Junior High Oheei leaders lead us in some yells We were instroduced to our handsome hand-some basketball players by oui coach Duke Giles. To end oui -assembly Mr. Wm. GIRLS BASKETBALL Two games have now beer scheduled for the girls basket bal team. The first is Thursday, Jan 10 at Lehi. The second is on Jan 21st at Provo. Good luck girls, ws hope you win. |
