Show Food Processing To Be Speeded Up Here "Food processing activities in the Provo area will be speeded up within the next ten day period." per-iod." W. L. Because of the tremendous tremend-ous food shortage in all parts of the world, it is up to the United States to feed our Allies as well as our Army and Navy overseas. Information received from the northern part of the State indicates indi-cates that there will be plenty of work in food processing plants, and men or women who desire to leave the area and accept jobs elsewhere can do so. Good living conditions are provided separate apartments for four to six persons. Cafeterias operated operat-ed at cost and good wages are paid. Men and women who are able to accept employment in can-.. can-.. neries or poultry processing plants and who are available should contact the United States Employment Service in Provo at 40 North University Avenue for immediate referral. |
