Show Activities of Jaycee Gems The directors of the Jaycee Gems met Monday afternoon at the home of President Ruth Cob-bloy. Cob-bloy. Plans were discussed . and laid for this years work. Meetings Meet-ings are to be held the 4th Wednesday Wed-nesday of each month. Next meeting will be held at the Alpine Grill September 25 at 8 o'clock. Mrs. Keith Jacobs color col-or group will be in charge, with Mrs. Gerald Bielliston director and Mrs. Fred Sumtsion, Mrs. Earl Woolley, Mrs. Ray Pulley, Mrs. Wayne Holman, and Mrs. Jack Pace. A fine program is being arranged. The Jaycee wives of Prove were hostesses at the- inner state Club meeting of the Jaycee wives at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Provo. A leading feature of the evening even-ing was the fashion show sponsored spon-sored by tlie- clothing stores of Provo, with ladies of the Provo club acting as models. Local Jaycee Gems attending included, Mrs. B. Cobbley, Mrs. Wayne Holman, Mrs. Ray Pulley. Mrs. W. R. Slaton, Mrs. Merlyn Wadley. Mrs. Claude Murphy, Mrs. Dean Atwood, Mrs. Keith Jacobs, Mrs. Ray Beers, Mrs. Glen Noble, Mrs. Myron Jense, Mrs. Lloyd West, Mrs. Max Ferre Mrs. Fred Sumision and Mrs. Harris Har-ris Chipman. CASH .HARBER ENGAGEMENT AXNOCXCEI) Mr. and Mrs. Leland Ivers announce an-nounce the engagement and approaching ap-proaching marriage of Colleen Cash to Richard Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Barber of Logan. The marriage will take place at the brides home on Sept. 2S. in the presence of the immed- ate families of the young couple. President Ray S. Merrill will officiate. of-ficiate. The bride to be is a 19 4 5 graduate grad-uate of the Pleasant Grove High School and a popular member of the young social set. Since graduation grad-uation she has been a receptionist reception-ist at K.D.Y.L. in Salt Lake City. Mr. Barber has also been connected con-nected with the radio station as a writer and announcer. They will make their home in Logan where Mr. Barber will hold a position at radio station K.V.N.U. " |
