Show PI. Grove News Wesley and Berniece Christian-son Christian-son Rasmiussen of Lehi, became the proud parents of a 9 lb. son on Wednesday, September 18. Lloyd and RaNae Ash Tomlinson Tomlin-son are the proud parents of a son born this week at the Utah -Valley hospital. This is the first grandchild born to Mr. and Mrs. Wrenard Tomlinson. The other happy grandparents, are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ash. Mr. Fred Swenson of Los Angeles Ang-eles and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swenson and little sons Stanley and David of Ogden have been visitors at the Archie Maxfields and Thomas Gleasons. Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Adams with other Utah legisators and their partners on Wednesday attended the Utah State Fair. Wednesday had been named as legislators day. Mrs. Beth Meeks Pierce is leaving leav-ing Friday for Los Angeles where she will meet her husband, Howard How-ard Pierce, who is returning after serving a long period with the army in the Philippines. The friends of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Wolfgram will be interested interes-ted to know that they are leaving San Francisco on Sept. 2S for the Tangan Islands, where they will enter the LDS mission field. A farewell testimonial will be given in their honor Monday evening at their ward in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Harry Wadley entertained eleven young friends of her son Jerry on Monday afternoon in compliment to the young man's birthday anniversary. Competitive Competi-tive games were enjoyed and prizes vied for. Later refreshments refresh-ments were 'served. Friends present pres-ent to wish Jerry Happy Birthday were, Jan Nelson, Joe Moyle. Arlen Devereaux, Royle Johnson, John-son, Delbert Atkinson. Doyle and Arville Mathis, Bert Cobbley, Dee Freeman,- Tracy Bronson, Lynn and Charles Saul. |
