Show Current Topics Discussed By Mothers Club Current issues of the day were the topics of interest diseussed by the Mothers CluD members and guests at the Oral Wright home, Thursday afternoon of last week. Miss Eatellia Fenton ab'Jy discussed the constitutional a-mendments a-mendments that are to be voted on at the November elections. An open forum following this discussion dis-cussion proved very enlightening and interesting. A violin solo, The Dancing Doll was played by Barbara Jensen, with Beverly Wright assisting at the piano. , Other members responsible for the planning of the afternoons program were Nora Macfarlane, Ida West, Venice Merrill and Ilene B-eck.- With PresidentElna Clark presiding, pre-siding, matters of business w'ere next taken up. The members u-nanimously u-nanimously agreed that the re-' re-' mainder of the July Benefit movies mov-ies were to go toward the main-tainance main-tainance of the ice skating rink, some equipment being urgently needed before, the skating season starts. Dainty refreshments were served serv-ed by the hostess, assisted by her daughter Beverly, Barbara Jensen Jen-sen and Marylyn Wright. Guests included, Mrs. Mary Wright, Mrs. Pearl Wadl-ey, Mrs. Prue Coombs, Mrs. Mary Hooley, Mrs. Calvin Swenson, Mrs. Calvin Walker, Mrs. Donna Ash, Mrs. Vida Adamson, Mrs. Will Halliday Halli-day and Mrs. Sheppard, the mother of Mrs. Irwin Jensen. |
