Show Jaycees Hold Business oession Wed. i On Wednesday evening the PleafflP i Grove , Tj ycees met at the Alpine Grill for dinner and their regular business, meeting. President Wayne Holman was in charge of the meeting. Among the projects discussed were benches for the ice skating rink, to be erepted by the Jaycees from money furnished by, the Mothers Club. Additional lights for the rink will also be installed and two committees were appointed ap-pointed to carry out these improvements. im-provements. Fred Sumsion and Keith Miller made the investigation invest-igation and recommendations for these two improvements. The athletic and recreation program, under the direction of Chairman W. R. Slaton is also being formulated. One of the events ev-ents will be a rifle snoot to be held sometime in the near future. Buff also states that he plans a basketball team for this year. The Jaycees are also formulating formul-ating plans for the state board meeting to be held here December Dec-ember 8. |
