Show King B. Drysdale ! Staff Sergeant King B. Drysdale son of Robert Drysdale and Ethel Drysdale Fenton was born at Pay-son, Pay-son, July 11, 1914. He attended school at Pleasant Grove, graduating from the JPleas-nt JPleas-nt Grove High School. He was active act-ive in music and dramatic art. He then attended the Brigham Young University. During his senior year and for two years he played with the A-merican A-merican Fork orchestra. Then he wont to Berkeley, Calif, to work in the W. T. Grant department depart-ment store in the stock room. He worked for them for five years where he steadily advanced. At the time of induction he was assistant as-sistant manager of the one of their Class A. Stores in Dallas, Texas. He was inducted into the Field Artillery division at Dallas, Texas. Tex-as. March 12, 1911 was sent to 12th Field Artillery, Fort Sill, Okla. for basic training. He was advanced to PFC. in April 1941, was promoted promot-ed to Corporal May, 1911. He was then sent to the ISth field artillery, artill-ery, Fort Sill, Okla, in June. 1941, where he still is. In March, 1942 he was advanced ,to Sergeant Teen. In December, 1912 to Sergeant. In May, 19-1.1 to Stapf Sergeant. |
