Show GLUE Cadmus Club members and their guests danced the old year out and the New Year in on New Years Eve, at their annual dancing party, which was held at the First Ward Recreational Hall. Promptly at 12 o'clock, the blowing blow-ing of horns greeted the little New Year, in the person of Calvin Swenson, Swen-son, who had many humorous gifts to present to the merry inakers. Lyean Johnson, representing "Father Time" assister Vie little New Year in making -O party a s-icccssi-h-ztorsrfM& lv. relinquished relin-quished his throne, making a very tired exit. 'V' The hall was bea dy decorated decor-ated with green jCyd hnd pine boughs, outlining t'fice north window, in which was tucked blue and silver ornaments and tall tapers tap-ers were used along the window ledge. Five huge electric lighted silver candles stood in front of the stage curtain and silver lettering, greeting greet-ing everyone with a happy New Year hung on the curtain. The rest of the room was decorated with blue and silver color scheme I along with colored balloons and green boughs. A long table, beautifully decorated decor-ated in silver and blue, graced the south end of the hall, from which a delicious buffet supper wr.s served ser-ved at 11 o'clock to 150 club members mem-bers and guests. Music was furnished by the Movie Electric shop. General chairman of the affair wps Mrs. Ina Tape, assisted by all club members. A very merry time was had by all present. |
