Show Alpine News Mrs. Warren V. Clark, Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Milton Muir and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Devey spent Monday Mon-day in Salt Lake City on business. Frank Strong, Samuel O. Strong and A. J. Strong spent Monday in Salt Lake City where they visited their sister, Mrs. Estella Hyde, who is ill. Dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Strong were Mr. and Mrs. Hugh W. Peterson and son Howard, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Peterson and daughter Marilyn, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Andrews and daughter all of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kiddle and children of Salt Lake City spent Friday with Mrs. Kiddle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Muir. Thayne Bateman and Ronald Strong were Salt Lake City visitors on Sunday. The annual Relief society conference confer-ence of the Alpine ward was held Sunday evening in the ward chapel. A very interesting program, in the form of a pageant, with several musical numbers was presented to a capacity audience. The Alpine stake Relief society presidency and Jesse M. Walker of the stake presidency presi-dency were in attendance. A ward dinner and entertainment will be given Thursday, November 28. It will be sponsored by the bishopric. A good attendance is desired. |
