Show American Fork Children Give Radio Program On Sunday, November 17, the Junior Musicians Orchestra from Springville, Provo, Orem, American Fork and Magna, gave a half-hour radio program over KOVO. These children are taught and directed by Stanley O. Morlock of Provo. The accompanist for the orchestra and solo numbers was Mrs. Stanley O. Morlock. The following program was rendered: rend-ered: "Our President" a march by A. Montgomery, played by the orchestra. or-chestra. This was followed by a Hawaiian guitar duet by LaRae and Jacklin Tracy of American Fork. 1 They played that famous old negro ! spiritual, "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot." Char-iot." The orchestra then played two numbers, "Valse Primo" and "Rosemary Gavotte" by Karl Stiska. The next number was a favorite Mexican serenade "Estrellita" by I Manuel A. Ponce, played on the violin vio-lin by Miss Anna Mae Mitchell of American Fork. The orchestra then played "March of the Gnomes" by Stiska, after which Sterling Johnson John-son and Floyd Cook of Orem played a Hawaiian waltz "King's Serenade" by Charles E. King,' on tneir guitars. The orchestra then played "At Sundown" by A. Montgomery, and in conclusion the orchestra played a march which is dedicated to themselves them-selves and to all other young musicians mus-icians of America; it is entitled "The Junior Musicians March" by Stiska. Since the broadcast many fine compliments have been received for the children and their teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley O. Morlock.
