Miss Estelle Fenton and Jimmy Richards left Thursday for Paro-wan Paro-wan where they will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fenton and family. Dr. Howard R. Driggs was the speaker in the Second ward sacrament sac-rament meeting last Sunday eve-. eve-. ning and gave a very interesting discourse on the ideals of the pioneers pio-neers in making the long hazardous hazard-ous trek across the plains, the early pioneers of Pleasant Grove and beseeched everyone today by these ideals in spite of any material ma-terial changes the war or industry indus-try might bring. Music was under direction of Chorister E. A. Beck and included two numbers, Come, Come Ye Saints, and How Great the Wisdom Wis-dom and the Love. Mrs. H. R. Driggs sang The Dearest Dear-est Spot on Earth and Miss Reva West sang Lest We Forget and the Lord's Prayer. She was accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Gleason. S. A. Kirk offered the invocation and H. W. Clark pronounced the benediction. |
