RECENT BRIDE HONORED Mrs. Louise Neilson, Mrs. Edna C. Gourley and Miss Carol Christianson Chris-tianson entertained a happy group of friends at the Christiansen home in honor of their sister, Mrs. Sherman Sher-man Varney, formerly Miss Mary Chistianson. The spacious home was bright and gay with spring flowers, in keeping with the happy spirit of the assembled guests and of the fine wishes, kindly advice and the many beautiful gifts which the young bride was showered. Those present included the bride and her mother Mrs. M. S. Christiansen; Mrs. Glen Varney and Miss Beth Varney of American Fork; Miss Barbara Whyte of Provo; Josephine Roundy of Lehi; Mrs. Rhea Backman, Mrs. Lyle H. Halliday, Mrs. Fern Maxfield, Mrs. Elizabeth T. Mott, Mrs. Marion Tense, Miss Jeanne West and Miss Maurine Lim.
