Show Funeral Held Tuesday for Anna E. Hall The Second Ward Chapel was well filled Tuesday afternoon with 1 relatives and friends who assem. bled to pay their last tribute of respect to the memory of Mrs. Anna E. Hall and express sympathy sym-pathy for her family. The impressive service began at two o'clock with Earl A. Beck of the Second ward bishopric in charge. Invication was offered by Austin Moyle. A sketch of the life and works of Mrs. Hall was read by Mrs. Laura Timpson of Alpine, and was followed by an organ solo, O My Father, played by Miss Jennie Gleason. First speaker was Bishop Orin Burgess of Alpine, close friend of the Halls' while they lived in Alpine. A vocal duet, One Sweetly Solemn Thot, was sung by Mrs. Inez Burgess and Mrs. Bertha Strong, accompanied by Mrs. Orin Burgess. Cliford E. Young, assistant to the Council of the Twelve, paid fine tribute to the daparted mother moth-er of 16 children and gave fine thoughts on the Gospel plan. Benediction was pronounced by Henry Parduhn. Burial was made in the Alpine, cemetery, where Elder Isaac Jacob Jac-ob offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were grandsons of Mrs. Hall and granddaughters assisted in oaring for the flowers. Mrs. Hall, 90,. died Thursday -morning of causes incident to ago at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Gray. |
