May Kings-sand Miss Joyce i? uga: entertained enter-tained at a bridal shower, at the A. J. Olson home on Wednesday evening for Mrs. Clifford Rhodes, who was married on February 17. A pleasant evening of games and school girl chatter was spent, after which the young bride was showered with good wishes, and a fine assortment of useful and beautiful beau-tiful gifts. Girl friends present included: Misses Ruth Mills, Ludeane Wag-staff, Wag-staff, Doris Jeane Rogers, Shirley West, Betty Hurst, Marine Nelson, Hlen Winters, Collen Mathews, Clela Gibson, Margaret Adams, Kathryn Olpin Leatrice Hatch Pauline Paul-ine Gunderson, LaRee Olson, Carol Christiansen, Alta Mae King, Joyce Joy-ce Fugal, Mrs. Joan W. Strahburg. The bride formerly Anna Louise Rogers is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rogers of Pleasant Crove. Her husband is Clifford Rhodes and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Rhodes of Provo. The young people are popular members of the younger set, in their respective communities, and have a host of friends, wishing them well in their new venture. They left Thursday for Colorado where they -will make their home. |
