Hospital supplies, such as slips and bed jackets were made under the direction of Miss Gwenna Allred, head of the high school domestic art department. Lap boards were made by the Woodwork department of the high school, directed by Eldon West-over, West-over, head of that department. Afghans of wool pieces made by the Second year junior girls of the Third ward, directed by their teacher Mrs. Ruby Fugal. This work iby the girls is a definite de-finite project. The wool pieces were given by the Relief Society of the Pleasant Grove First and Manila Wards. Mrs. Harvey states there are more wool pieces available if any other group wishes to take up sim-iliar sim-iliar work. |
