Show ARMISTICE DAY ASSEMBLY Monday, November 11, the Debate De-bate class presented to the school an assembly depleting the Armistice Armis-tice and its hopes. As the Debate Class is made up of girls, they had to enlist the help of Darrell Beveridge and Walter Adamson to assist them. The assembly was under the direction dir-ection of LaVeda Friedley and Afton Walker. Those girls worked hand in hand to put it over. The program started with the American Legion presenting the colors. JoAnn Crease then gave a Toast to the Flag. A musical number num-ber was then rendered by LaPriel Neilson and Jewell Warburton. A skit was then presented that waa enjoyed by everyone. It was during this skit that an irregularity irregular-ity occurred. Everyone was asked to remain seated while the'Star Spangled Banner" was being played. play-ed. The last number was a tribute the dead of the last war. |
