Show THE SENIOR HOP What a day!! What a night!! What a dance!!! The Seniors Hop ended, what else could cause so much excitement. excite-ment. The . Seniors busy placing the last minute touches to the beautiful beaut-iful oriental theme were seen dashing dash-ing hither and thither about the gym ami halls all day. "Mr. Banks, do you know where we can find some brown chalk?" or "I don't know where the black crepe paper is and we can't find any more any place," were mingled ming-led in with the rest of the conversation conver-sation which was all centered a-round a-round the big affair at nighty Then finally as the incense burned out the last of the Seniors left the hall to sweep up their hair and make a new entrance. The old Chinese garden gate greeted every one with a friendly atmosphere. The dragons guarded the Buddha, which in turn demanded deman-ded your respect. As you opened your fan to write in the long list of engaged dances the lanterns glowed finally from the Pagoda, the music of Boyd Peay drifted in and the tingling of wind bells added ad-ded to enchantment of our little Oriental Garden. The girls with swishing skirts accompanied by their stalwart heroe's danced the traditional Promenade to make a beautiful climax to days of worry and work. So into the days of memory pass the Senior Hop of '46- never to be forgotten. |
