Show Local News Items i I Mr. and Mrs. George Neilson, entertained Sunday evening following fol-lowing sacramaent meeting, in honor of Bryan Fugal, recently discharged from the U. S. Navy. A delicious chicken dinner was served ser-ved to the honor guest and his wife, Bishop and Mrs. Neil Y. Fugal and the host nrd hostess. Mrs. Bert Bezzant and Mrs. Mark Bezzant returned Tuesday from a weeks stay in Alemeda California, where they enjoyed a visit with their son and husband S 2-c Mark Bezzant, who has now left for the Marshall Islands. While on the coast, they were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Darold Orgill, a brother in law and sister of Mrs. Bezzant. They also enjoyed a short visit with S 1-c Jay Parduhn, husband of Thelda Bezzant Parduhn, who is at. present stationed on Treasure Island. The Variety Club mot nt the home of Mrs. Eva Orton on Friday Fri-day nflernoon of hist week. Miss Estelle Fenlon reviewed the book "A Syrian Yankeei' which was greatly enjoyed by the group. Tasty refreshments were served. Guests inclcudcd Miss Fonton, Mrs. Lucille Harmor, Mrs. May Morgan, Mrs. Inn Page, and Mrs. Glonna Ivers. Club members pre- sent were: Ruby Warnick, Max-Ino Max-Ino Price, Theda Parduhn, nozzle noz-zle Stoddard, Evelyn Schoonover, Merle Arnillslead. Norma P.ron-son, P.ron-son, Margorle Jones, Mary Harper Har-per and the hostess Kva Orion. Mi', and Mrs. Hoy Allen have relumed lo their home In San Jose, California, after a short visit with relatives.. Mr. and Mrs. Allen were called here by the (icath of Mr. Allen's mother. On 'their return lo California they were accompanied hy Mi'. and ' Mrs. Don Hilton nnd baby. Mr. Illllon will return In a few days, while Mrs. Illllon and baby will visit longer with her parents and , 'nl her relatives. Mr. and Mrs. W. James Kleh- unison with their two children ; have moved Into the Kenneth Meredith home In Manila. |
