Show Funeral Held Saturday For Irving Bullock Vory impressive funeral services wore conductod Saturday in the Fii-st ward chapel for Inving Bullock, Bul-lock, life long resident of Pleasant Grove, who died Tuesday, May 1st in a Salt Lake hospital following several weeks illness. The services began at 2 o'clock with Ertmsm Christensen of the 1st ward bishopric in charge. Mrs. Mae R Walker accompanied by Irwin Jensen sang the opening number. Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." S. A. Kirk of the Timpanogos Stake High Council offered the opening prayer Bishop Lewis Olpin, a business associate of Mr. Bullock, the first speaker, told of the fine amiable character of the departed and of his devotion to his family and liis employers. ' Other speakers were Wm. C. Smith, of the high council, who also paid tribute to Mr. Bullock's character and bore a testimony to the truthfullness of the Gospel, and President Merrill N. Wamick who opened his remarks with the theme "There Is No Death." Musical numbers interspersing the speakers w-ere a string trio "A Perfect Per-fect Day" played by Ramona Jacob, violin, Winona Kftk, cello, and Irwin Ir-win Jenen, piano; an organ solo, Irwin Jensen and the closing num ber, a vocal solo, "Going Home" by "Warren Kirk, accompanied by-Mrs. Kirk. Benediction was pronounced by Junius A. West. Burial directed by Olpin Bros, was made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Pall bearers Included Herbert Armitstead, Wm. Green, Earl Loader, Kayle Bullock, R.aymond Nelson and LaMont Blackhurst. |
