Show Plaque At Relic Hall To Be Dedicated Friday, At 2 P M. Th i' Daughters of the Utah Pioneers again invite the public to attend the dedication of the placque to be placed on the old school house or the D.U.P. Relic Hall at 2 o, clock on Friday afternoon, after-noon, August 13. Testimonial To Honor The WrightBrothers A Farewell Testimonial will be given in the Pleasant Grp,ve Second Ward Chapel on Thurs day evening, September 19th at 8 o'clock, honoring Kenneth and Norman Wright, who h.e "hen called to labor in the L. D. 3. Mission Field. Speakers will include Dr. H. V. Hoyt, President Merrill N. Warnick, Bishop Reed O. Walker Walk-er and the two missionaries. ' A fine musical program is also al-so being arranged. ( Both young men are sons nr Mrs. Oral W. and the late Clifford Clif-ford L. Wright, "and have recently recent-ly been dTsdhan-ged 'from the fighting forces. Kenneth served with the IT S. Navy on Submarine duty in the Pacific, while Norman v-wil.h v-wil.h the army. Both young men will leave for the mission home September 2 3 after which Kenneth will ent"-the ent"-the Central States mrssion, j"1 Norman will enter the Northwestern North-western States Mission. |
