Show WEST BARTON MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED In ; a simple yet impressive ceremony at the home of the bride, Miss Harriett West, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellroy R. West, became the bride of John Preston Barton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Barton of Pleasant Grove. 'Tre marriage was solemnized by Adolphus P. Warnick, in the presence of the two families and I a few friends and was followed I by a reception. The bride was lovely in a gown fashioned with a fitted bodice or satin with draped neckline and full length sleeves. The bouffant skirt of French net ended in a full train. Her veil of lace trimmed trim-med net fell from a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a boquet of white gladioli, gardenias and rubreem lilies. The bridal attendants included includ-ed Mrs. Roy Barton as matron of honor, Mrs. Jesse Burr, Mrs. Roy Nielson, Miss Geniel Cullimire, Miss Betty Heidenreich and Miss Colleen Mathews, all of whom wore gowns of pastel shades and carried nosegays of blue delphinium delphin-ium and pink dahlias. Mrs. West, mother of the bride, wore a gown of ivory jersey with a corsage of rose camillias and Mrs. Barton, mother of ti.e groom chose a gown of aqua crepe with a corsage of white gardenias. Ray Barton, brother of the groom acted as best man. Assisting in the gift room were Mrs. Ellroy H. West and Margaret Mar-garet Hayes. Tre dining room was in charge of Mrs. Dean Gordon, Mrs. Glen Durrant, Mrs. A. P. Warnick, Mrs. Everett West, Mrs. Vernon Ahman and Mrs. Beverly Swen-son. Swen-son. They were assisted toy Miss Barbara West, M'iss Katherine Olpin, Miss Emmeline Kirk, Miss Diane Thorne, Miss Doris Watf-ley, Watf-ley, Miss Carole Walker! Miss Marilyn King, Miss Elaine Olpin. The young couple expect' to make their home in Salt Lake City, where John will attend the University of Utah. |
