Show Daughters of Pioneers Meeting Daughters of the Pioneers met at the home of S. Alnra Kirk Sunday with Captain Lucille Walker ir. , 1 charge. Captain Walker turned the i meeting over to Mrs. Lydia Lundj and the following program was ren-j dered: Song, duet, "The Purple ; Road."' Armitstead sisters; reading,;' Emmeline Kirk; biography of L. P. Lund, Warren Kirk; biography cf Susan McCarther Holly Lund, Cle- j one Lund Kirk; instrumental, Kath-ryn Kath-ryn Kirk; a tribute composed by Mrs. ! Helen Harvey a life long friend of! thP Lund family, was read by her. daughter, Lucille Walker. j Mrs. Lund said she certainly appreciated ap-preciated the splendid attendance. Also remarked on the changei' that have taken place in her short life. The following friends paid glowing tributes to the memory of L. P. Lund and wife. Swe.n L. Swenson, Mrs. Elenor Nicholes, Mrs. Louisa Halli-day, Halli-day, Mrs. Emma Larson, Mrs. Ella Brown, Mrs. Thomas H. Gleason, Mrs, Rose B. Hayes, Mrs. Annie Hol-man, Hol-man, Lucille Walker thanked everyone every-one for coming. An enjoyable afternoon after-noon was spent by all.
